How to make coffee using Philips coffee machine
- Open the lid if the coffee maker head
- Fill the reservoir with cold water( drinking water) up to the required level. There will be indications on the water level window in which left side indications corresponds to large cups whereas right side indications corresponds to the smaller cups
- Place the filter in to the filter holder. Put the required amount of coffee powder into the filter and close the lid.( If the filter is not set properly, the lid won’t close. So set the filter head properly before switching on the appliance).
- Place the thermal carafe over the hot plate with its spout facing the appliance. If the spout is kept facing outwards, the coffee cools down quickly
- Place the jar carefully over the hot plate because if the Carafe is not placed in its position, the drip stop function stops the brewed coffee from flowing in to the carafe making the filter to overflow.
- Switch on the appliance. The indicator shows the power status of the coffee maker. Allow, the water to pass through the filter for about a few minutes .
