The power switch is present on the top of the deebot. Once installed, the device can be connected to a mobile app for device handling and area mapping.
Two brushes are provided to be fixed at the bottom to sweep dust and dirt from the floor. It contains a main brush for cleaning the floor and mopping pad to wipe the floor while cleaning.
Once switched on , the deebot scans the entire room to look out for virtual mapping. You can also set the schedule to clean . Cleaning routines can be set through the mobile app. No go areas and the avoidable areas should be set for the device to skip cleaning the particular area.
To clean certain areas with tough stains or spillage, you just have to select the particular area by drawing a square around the dirt . Once selected, the device automatically starts cleaning. After the job is done, it automatically goes back to its charging station. Water for mopping and dust are collected at the charging port.

How unique is the Ecovac Deebot?
Multiple layers of air filtration:
When it comes to pet hairs, cleaning should be done to get rid of allergen particles. Not only ecovacs are efficient in removing pet hairs, but also has a fine suction which removes tiny particles up to 300 microns in size.
It eliminates odour causing dust particles, thereby providing a healthy environment. The E11 filter is treated with two antibacterial agents and the dust bag is self sealed in dock to avoid odour.
Good suction power:
Having a suction power of 4300 pa(pascal), Deebot N10 excels in removing dust and dirt which are stuck in floor and rugs. The motor uses glass fiber material to keep the volume low while cleaning.
Brushes :
The floating main brush is good for cleaning while having a greater contact with the floor. It helps in achieving deep cleaning without much damage.
The new rubber brush is good for cleaning homes with pet hairs. The hair stuck in the brush can be easily cleaned.
OZMO mopping system
It uses the precise amount of water needed in droplets to carefully wet the floor for mopping. Therefore it is much efficient in attaining perfection without over wetting the floor. The water flow level can be adjusted to four levels for your convenience.
The deebot avoids mopping in carpets by sensing using the ultra sonic sensors and automatically boosts up the suction power when vacuuming carpets.
Dust collection
Your deebot automatically empties the dustbin and seals the bag after cleaning. It comes with 2.5L of hypoallergenic dust bag to avoid order.
The dust bag can hold up to a months dust , so frequent emptying of dust bin is reduced.

Running time
Deebot is powered by 5200 mAh battery, so it can run for a longer time for about 330 minutes. With the single water refill it can mop the floor up to 4000sq.ft.
Smart Charging
Ecovacs Deebot automatically runs to its charging station when the battery is about to run out. When it is recharged ,it returns to its cleaning spot where it left off.
Is it good at finding its way around?
Yes, it is. The deebot uses severeal infra red sensors to deviate and nudge through the obstacles. Howerver the bumper is extreamely light, for avoiding certain things.
Small and barely nudgable things like socks, cables, pet mess cant be avoided. So it is a must to keep your floor almost clear before switching it on.
The LiDAR navigation is very good. Firstly, the deebot vaccums the corners and around the edge and then cleans through the straight line .
Boundary setting:
If you dont want the vaccum to enter a particular area ,setting virtual boundaries helps them stay away . It can be set through the mobile app . Restrictions to particular area can also be done by closing the path, while it senses the new route to clean the area.
How well does it clean?
Cleanning has the better performance. Carpets are not mopped but left clean without dust and debris. It covers the ground quickly mopping a square feet in up to a minute.
The N10 lacks a standard spot clean feature; instead, you must utilize the app to outline a rectangle on the map encompassing the mess. This prompts the robot to navigate to the designated area, treating it as a small room by following the perimeter before filling it in with straight-line movements.
We performed several test to check the sweeping and mopping functions. On the one with scattered debris and dust, it collected almost 97%of spillage. Mostly the dust and particles doesnt get bounced by the brushes instead it is sucked in for cleaning.
But the mopping facility has to be set in the deep clean mode for the effective cleaning with enough amount of water.
Normal mode also cleans , but one stroke of mopping is not enough to remove the dried up dirt. Spillage and spot cleanning arent that much effective compared to the full cleaning. It is good at cleaning the whole house than targeting spillages.
Should i buy it?
If you are looking for the vacuum with longer time, it suits you. Moreover, it also has HEPA filters which are good in removing odour and microbes. Pet hairs are removed efficiently by the brushes.
Simultaneous mopping is done so time is saved. Dust is collected automatically and very effective in finding its way around the house. But its not so good at spot cleaning and spillage. Small obstacles and cables cant be avoided by them. So it is a must to keep the floor clear before vacuuming.
